The SAAFP is the largest academic and only national organization dedicated to the ongoing education and professional development of General/Family Practitioners. The SAAFP has had as its focus and vision for more than 20 years the development of the discipline of family / general practice.

The 14th National Family Practitioners Conference will offer you an experience of a life time with a stimulating scientific programme covering various family medicine topics with special focus on 'Evidence Based Practice'. It will also provide you with the opportunity to interact with colleagues from South and southern Africa.
The conference will be held at the ultra modern conference centre of the Rustenburg Civic Centre. Rustenburg is a fast growing city in the Platinum province of North West, South Africa situated some 112 km northwest of Johannesburg, at the foot of the Magaliesberg. It offers numerous places of interest and its jacaranda tree-lined streets are the hub of a thriving agricultural and mining industry.
